Through innovative engineering and state-of-the-art technology, each Graham-White automatic drain is enhanced with numerous design features for continual trouble free operation under the most adverse conditions. For over seventy years, they have proven their reliability in the transport industries by expelling accumulated water, oil, scale and sludge from air tanks, accumulators, filters and alike. All operate without the use of troublesome floats. Our "Self-Actuating" design exhausts when the presence of water is sensed. Our "Air Actuated" and "Solenoid Actuated" styles are both equipped with our unique double seated, high capacity air saving design. Options include: Thermostatically controlled heaters for below freezing conditions. A variety of both AC and DC voltages. Manual overrides and mounting configurations.

The heavy-duty GW Solenoid design with epoxy impregnated encapsulated "Class F continuous duty" coils are commonly used in the locomotive and rail transit industry with a variety of DC and AC input voltages. Faston tab or a terminal block connection with or without suppression devices are available along with a choice of coil housing or exposed coil with yoke. Special electrical connectors, normally open and closed can be specified to control various pneumatic functions including compressor control, dynamic brake, interlock, over speed, bell ringer, water circulation, etc. GW solenoid valves are designed with pipe brackets to permit easy maintenance as required. As a result, no air connections need to be disconnected. This reduces out-of-service time for your equipment and saves money. A unique duplex solenoid valve is available for one inlet connection and two outlets for dual operation.
