Filters

In addition to the high performance filtration packages that are an inherent part of each Graham-White Air Dryer, we also make available an assortment of stand-alone, heavy-duty filters. These unique, high efficiency, stand-alone filters fall into two groups. The first group is a series of Centrifugal / Coalescing filters with automatic drains. The second group is comprised of high efficiency Particulate Filters. It is important to remember that a Centrifugal /Coalescing filter is not an air dryer that reduces the dew point or the relative humidity of the compressed air. Although the Centrifugal filters will remove some of the free water and the Coalescing filters will remove free water and oil aerosols, they do not remove the water vapor that will eventually condensate as the compressed air temperature cools.

Centrifugal / Coalescing

The first group is our 824 series of heavy duty, Dual Stage Compressed Air Filters. The first stage is an elongated centrifugal passage that spins the air and separates the liquids from it. This centrifugal passage has the unique ability to remove extremely high amounts of bulk liquids and to maintain separation efficiency throughout its full operating flow range. The second stage is a high efficiency coalescing element that removes sub-micron oil and water aerosols down to .03 microns and dirt particles as fine as 3 microns. It is available with a number of options including automatic drains, manual drains and mounting configurations. The 824-131 is supplied with our Air Actuated 580 series double seated drain valve. The 824-376 is equipped with our 686 series Self-Actuating drain valve.

Particulate

The second group is our 975-075 and 950-284 series of Particulate Compressed Air Filters. Both are high efficiency particulate filters with extended surface pleated elements for long life and minimal pressure drop. Made with lightweight aluminum housings and designed for easy maintenance.
