Re-energized Public Relations Effort
“Graham-White wants the world to know more about who we are and what we do to make our customer’s lives better across the planet.” So says Graham White’s vice president of sales and marketing, Stewart Bruce. “Therefore, our company has committed to a re-energized public relations effort to better inform customers, and the general public, throughout our global markets. Utilizing our enhanced web site, www.grahamwhite.com, and global media outlets, our goal is to completely inform interested parties on a monthly basis.”
According to Mr. Bruce, Graham-White has been supplying rail and non-rail related products as an OEM to domestic and world markets for 95 years. He continues, “Today, this long-lasting solid reputation is even more important to our clients given the current global financial crisis. We feel now is the time to reassure all of our valued customers worldwide that Graham-White is here for the long term and we believe all of us will learn and prosper from this challenge.” Stewart Bruce reiterates, “The ongoing goal of a lean production process along with old-fashioned ‘belt-tightening’ will generate the strength and stability it takes to continue to do the job right the first time. I am confident the smart working men and women of Graham-White will make it so.”
Further indications of Graham-Whites ability to adapt is evidenced by the company’s commitment to “Going Green!” All aspects of company and employee work activities take into consideration recycling. According to Mr. Bruce, the company has been a leader in recycling for many years. He stresses the point, “Graham-White has offered remanufacturing services for nearly 20 years now. So we have been a resource-friendly company for a long time. Since developing our REMANSM Superhero character almost five years ago, a friendly face has been placed on a long standing slang word for any remanufacturing service we offer. This business is very cost effective since most of the energy to make a product has already been expended. Our customers receive incredible value when recycling through REMANSM and help save the environment as well.”
To better inform customers, Stewart Bruce states, “Throughout the coming years the company will generate monthly press releases with a wide range of pertinent topics including: products and services; Class I focus; new customer relationships, environmental issues and company milestones just to name a few.” He maintains, “By doing this, we hope to re-energize everyone involved with Graham-White… to show the world that in America ‘Yes We Can’…. and it starts here, within the heart (pointing to chest), and within the spirit that is the global Graham-White family.”
