600 Series Relay Valves

600 Series Relay Valves

The 600 Series Relay Valve is a high- capacity, solenoid operated three way valve, with 1/2" NPT connections for applications when flows of 75-200 SCFM are required. It is used in numerous rail air-control applications including pneumatic braking. The unique integral pipe bracket with 1/2" NPT porting is standard and permits easy maintenance as required. No air connections need to be disconnected when maintenance is required saving out-of-service time. Normally closed and normally open brackets can be used with the same common valve to provide flexibility and standardization of parts. The typical electro-pneumatic valve is actuated electrically from the cab console or some other automatic-programmable signal. The heavy-duty design with epoxy impregnated and encapsulated "Class F continuous duty" coils are commonly used in the locomotive and rail transit industry with a variety of DC and AC input voltages. Faston tab or a terminal block connection, with or without suppression devices, are available along with a choice of coil housing or exposed coil with yoke. Special electrical connectors can be specified.
